Seacoast Spectacular Birding and Nature Tour
Seacoast Spectacular: Birding NH’s Seacoast with NHA President Doug Bechtel and Bob Quinn of Merlin Wildlife Tours
Thursday, May 17 – Sunday, May 20
New Hampshire’s coastline may be short but the region is rich with wildlife habitat and spectacular birding opportunities. Your guides will take you to some of the hot-spots where migrating shorebirds, waterfowl and land birds can be located. In addition, Bob’s extensive knowledge of the area will allow for some off-the beaten path explorations. The trip includes a boat trip to the Isle of Shoals tern colony with Senior Biologist Diane DeLuca. A visit to the banding station on Appledore Island will provide close up views of many migrating songbirds.
You will stay in comfortable housing at Alnoba in Kensington where farm to table and locally prepared meals will sustain you for your excursions. All meals (excluding alcohol) are included in the price of the trip.
