Join us for the 2026 second quarter NH Audubon book club book discussion via Zoom of The Feather Detective. This book, written by award-winning journalist Chris Sweeney, who charts the astonishing life and work of Roxie Laybourne, a diminutive but singular woman with thick glasses, a heavy Carolina drawl, and a passion for birds. Roxie shattered stereotypes and pushed boundaries. Her story is one of persistence and grit, obsession, and ingenuity. The meeting, facilitated by Community Outreach Coordinator Anita Fernandez, will focus on themes, reactions, and takeaways from this book.
